Hakeem, also known as Haky Dee, has always had the tenacity and deep inclination for the creative arts. A graduate of Fine Arts, from the Yaba College of Education, Lagos State, Hakeem had helped establish thousands of Graphic Art Designs, illustrations and layouts for Business and Graphic Design outlets in Nigeria and around the Globe. Which he started at a very tender age, long after he had developed drawings, engaged stencil Arts and imaging as a preoccupation.
Today, he has worked as Creative Director for Advertising Agencies in Nigeria and Overseas, aiding to develop Award Winning Advertising Campaigns and illustrations.
He’s the Founder & CEO for Haky Dee International Limited, Festac Radio Online & Haky Wears (a Clothing Brand) Director at Delso Graphics Ltd., devoted to developing Media content for clientele as Public Relations and Media Concerns. Till date Hakeem has over 30,000 illustrations and about 12,000 Designs for various concerns.
He worked as Project Manager/Artist Manager with a couple of Media and Entertainment Projects including Musical tours with renowned Artistes and also doubled as Artiste Manager and Repertoire. He coordinated the Naija Ninja Fashion show for two years running, and acted as Assistant Project Manager for the Worlds Aids Day Concert at Lekki Beach asat 2002 when the show ended. He was also Artistic Director and Stage Manager for the 2Face and friends MTN Tour few years back and the Project/Stage Manager at the Booth Fest in South Africa in 2019 with Wizkid as the lead Artist.
Hakeem, a Freelance Graphic Designer with strong experience in corporate designs, a proud perfectionist when it comes to art and design, who likes traveling, meeting people, swimming & cooking.
He has information and communication technology proficiency ranging from UI/UX Design, graphic software, printing and imaging tools, online marketing/streaming and technical illustrations.
He’s an efficient team player, highly motivated goal driven individual and love putting smile on people face. He’s simple, discipline and energetic. He projects his creativity and works as if motivated by a higher cause. To him, creativity is a feature of human existence that should never be taken for granted.
